How Do I Buy An Original?

K.B. Newcomer creates as many papercut artworks as possible and releases them in collections on this website and on the coordinating Etsy shop a few times per year. New works and collections will be advertised before hand via social media, on the blog, and the mailing list. Mailing list subscribers will have first access to new works. Originals will be available here.

Framing

Unlike canvas artworks, papercut artworks will last longer if framed in glass. The glass will protect your artwork from wear and dust, and the frame allows the papercut artwork to be easily hung on a wall. Framing, especially with a mat, elevates the artwork beautifully. Please keep your artwork out of direct sunlight so that the colors of the paper won't fade.

Can I Commission a Papercut Artwork?

Yes! K.B. Newcomer loves creating one-of-a-kind papercut artworks for collectors. Commissions are first-come, first-serve, and K.B. Newcomer retains the right to decline a commission request for any reason. All commissions are done under contract. Details about the commission process and policies can be found here. To request a commission, please fill out this form.

How is My Artwork Going to Be Shipped?

All original papercut artworks will be shipped flat, wrapped in paper, wedged between chipboard or rigid cardboard, and sent in a rigid flat envelope or larger cardboard box. If the work is smaller than 9" x 12" it will be shipped in a USPS Priority Mail Flat-Rate Envelope. If the work is larger than 9" x 12" it will be shipped in a large, flat cardboard box with sufficient padding and send by USPS.

Please allow 1-2 days for your order to be shipped. Most artwork shipped by USPS Priority Mail will arrive within 2-5 days (domestic) from time of shipping (about 3-7 days from time of order) and includes tracking and insurance.
